‘Tis the season to be jolly! The holidays are almost here. It’s time for some lovely food, delightful drinks and cosy gatherings. And also, the time to hop on to the trend bandwagon with your siblings and share it with the internet world. We found an easy festive trend you should try now!

Food stylist Meg Quinn (@ainttooproudtomeg on Instagram) has shared her viral Snow Globe Cocktail and it is taking the internet by a (snow) storm! With over 37 million views, 700,000+ likes and 5000+ comments, this recipe has charmed most people with its simplicity. Here’s the post shared by Quinn:

This recipe involves very less ingredients. You just need to fill your freezer-safe glass with a little water at the bottom and make a small sprig of Rosemary stand inverted in the middle. Keep your glass in the freezer until the water has turned to ice. Now, just add a clear liquid of your choice and watch the magic happen!

You may opt for clear vodka or rum. For a non-alcoholic version, pick sparkling water or a clear soda of your choice. Using Vodka or Sparkling water give the extra pizzaz of snow fall because of the fizz and bubbles. This easy recipe has garnered so much interest online with many tagging their family and friends and commenting that they would love to try it. Some users have also provided some additional tips to add to the flair of the drink-

Greengoddessculinaria wrote, ”This is so classic! I used to sugar mine first so it looked frosted.”

decorandlotsmore said, “And add edible glitter!!” (P.S. We totally agree with this one!)

Some users pointed out that the ice will eventually start floating and the rosemary may poke one’s nose or eye and Quinn even replied to one of these users saying, “oh no! Must drink faster. 😂 🎄”

A small section of users also expressed their dissatisfaction at having a Rosemary-flavored cocktail. Some are still worried about their glassware (Quinn suggests to check if your glassware is freezer safe).

It’s super easy to follow this cocktail trend, and what’s great is that you can opt for a nonalcoholic version if you’d like.
